Cairo University is the largest University in the Middle East and North Africa. It has 200,000 students and 20,000 faculty members. In 2020, the President of the University decided to digitize the learning and assessment processes at the University. The University purchased the Smart Campus platform, including the IBMP WEB ' and Backboard Learn ' systems. The assessment system will offer all formative and official exams for all colleges. It includes ten modules that enable the University to develop item banks and deliver both paper-based tests and online tests. Students can take their online exams on campus or from home. The System ensures a high level of security and stability. The assessment system is integrated with the learning systems to ensure ease of use.

The Intelligent Testing Gate (the first generation of IBMP WEB') was purchased in 2016, whereby the College and technicians of the Advanced Group for Information Technology (AGI) worked together to ensure the success of the e-tests experience for the first time in Egyptian universities (2016), and the Faculty of Arts initiative succeeded in applying the e-tests. King Khalid University purchased the IBMP WEB' Platform in December 2020 to be the first university in the Kingdom to use the third generation of the full assessment solution in developing tests for all its faculties, starting from January 2021. In the first phase of the project, it was successfully implemented. Instructors from five colleges were trained at the university level. The system was used to implement e-tests in the second semester exams of Spring 2021, despite the limitation of time and the challenges of training during COVID-19.

Saudi Arabia: King Khalid University E-Assessment (2021-Present)

The University of Tabuk has contracted AGI to supply IBMP (Second generation of Item-bank module in IBMP WEB ') and build the capacity of the faculty members in the preparatory year to develop question banks, achievement tests, and statistical analysis. The System was installed in 2016 on the University's servers and a training program was provided for more than 36 training hours for faculty members in the preparatory year where it covered several topics including building the structure of question banks, designing assessment frameworks (blueprint), composing questions, creating test-forms, analyzing tests using CTT and IRT, and selecting good questions to measure the level of students. International group experts participated in providing these training workshops and the workshops included many hands-on exercises so that the faculty members could successfully achieve the outputs of the training programs. The Preparatory-year team has been successfully using the System in building the exams each semester.

Tabuk University- KSA

Saudi Arabia: Question Banks at the University of Tabuk (2016- present)

The Qatar University Test Center contracted AGI to purchase the IBMP question bank system and ITG (updated to IBMP WEB), as the Center uses it to develop admission and placement tests at the university level for first-year students, for example, mathematics, English, Arabic, and other exams. The number of examiners is more than 2000 students annually and the tests include objective and essay questions. Remote technical support is provided in a way that ensures the continuation of the work.

Qatar University Testing Center

Qatar: University Testing Center (2015 - Present)

Under the umbrella and support of the World Bank, AGI presented the IBMP (Second generation of Item-bank module in IBMP WEB ') to the National Test Center of the Ministry of Education in Ethiopia, where the System was supplied to the Center with the provision of a set of workshops to developing PBTs and guidelines to write questions and test-form assembly. Two workshops were provided in Addis Ababa and Cairo. The Center's team has been successfully using the System in building the National Exam at the country level.

The Examination Department of the Ministry of Education of the Libyan Interim Government

Under the umbrella of the UNICEF, the American Institutes of Research (AIR) have worked on a project to develop national tests for all Indian states that rely on the use of question banks, creating test-forms and applying them to pre-university students all over India, and then analyzing the results using Item Response Theory models. The project management has chosen the IBMP WEB (Item-bank: IBMP) system because of its characteristics that meet all the project needs and the ability of the System to work in limited internet connectivity. The AGI provided the services of hosting the System on the web and offering training workshop in India, where AGI expert traveled to train MoE SMEs on building banks, writing and reviewing questions by multiple teams in different states, and creating and printing test images. Indian teachers and mentors have successfully used the System in building national tests in more than 10 courses in English, math, and Indian local languages. The System has demonstrated high efficiency, and the technical support team made great efforts in building capacities and in providing technical support remotely to the MoE team from July 2019 until now.

India

India: Pre-University National Exams (2019 - present)

Within the first stage of the two-year question-banks project, MoE in Bahrain requested Al-Ola Company, Advanced Group for Information Technology (AGI), and the American Institutions for Research (AIR) to work together to provide a set of training workshops for the experts of the Measurement and Evaluation Center in developing tests using question banks. IBMP (Second generation of Item-bank module in IBMP WEB ') was supplied to the Ministry before the start of training in a four-year contract. The training included how to build an item-bank, design a test blueprint, write items, and generate test-forms using the System. The System has been used during the four-year project to generate the exams for grades 9, 10, and 11.
